Rocky Mountain High

We had been looking forward to our trip to Colorado this whole summer. It did not disappoint us! We had a great time with both of our families and our friends. We spent a lot of time in the mountains, saw a show, celebrated a birthday, went boating...tons of fun!

On my birthday my parents, Nathan and I went to the history museum in Denver to see the Titanic exhibit. We also got to check out the condo Shaina is buying! That night we had a family barbecue.

Mom and Dad gave me tickets to the Pre-Broadway production of The Little Mermaid for my birthday! It was a great show, Nathan and I had a lot of fun.

Nathan's parents rented a house in Estes Park for the week and we joined them Wednesday afternoon through Saturday morning. It was a lot of fun! We hiked a lot and enjoyed the fresh mountain air. The stars were beautiful!

On Saturday we went boating at Horsetooth with some of our friends. It was a blast, and I never fell off my tube! We all went cliff jumping too.

On Sunday afternoon we drove up the Poudre River for a picnic. The dogs begged to come and we gave in. :) It was fun, until the thunderstorm!

Nathan, Matt, my dad, and his friend Bill decided to hike/climb Longs Peak on our last day in Colorado. They all came home exhausted, but the pictures are beautiful!
