The Swishers: Visit from Uncle Matt!

My brother Matt, or Uncle Matt as we now refer to him, came for a visit this past week on his way home for Christmas! He was here for a couple days and we packed it full of fun. It only took Jane a few minutes to warm up to him once we were home and then she was stealing his cellphone! :) It was by far her favorite thing Uncle Matt let her do.

Jane has some new tricks this week. She has learned to shake her head "no", except she doesn't really know what it means. She just does it for fun. :) She also learned how to turn around in a circle. Too funny! She usually gets dizzy after a couple spins and then she has to stop.

We are really looking forward to Jane's first Christmas! We will be celebrating in California this year since I'm working. Look for some fun pictures next week!

Uncle Matt made a pile of leaves to play in. Jane thought it was lots of fun. :)

For some reason Jane thinks the Bumbo seat is fun again. I was moving it out of the corner to make room for Christmas presents and she just HAD to sit in it.

This is the reason I am late in my post this week! Nathan's professor invited us to come out on their sailboat for the Newport Christmas Boat Parade. We left Jane with "Aunt" Tessa and had a really fun night out! We ate dinner on the boat while we sailed around the harbor looking at all of the lights.
