Summer in Colorado
We decided to make a trip out to Colorado last week, one more time before baby! My mom, sister and I spent lots of time shopping for baby things. :) Mom & Dad bought us a crib and Mom is making me the bedding...all an excuse to be able to come out in November to see me when I'm really huge! :) Nathan's dad came to Greeley for the weekend and they were able to spend lots of time together too. They went to a Rockies game, a Broncos game, a street festival in Ft. Collins, and of course went to dinner with the Perrich's a few times. It was nice to spend a week with family before we start up with the craziness of fall. The weather was typical Colorado weather while we were there; lots of thunderstorms and hail!
Over the weekend we went to my Grandpa & Grandma's in the mountains. We had a great time visiting with family. My Uncle Dan and his family came up for the day on Saturday. Aunt Barb & Steve made it up for part of the day too. We made and ate way too much food, played cards and everyone pitched in to cut some wood.
Nathan and his dad went to the Bronco pre-season game against the Cowboys on Saturday night. They had a great time in spite of the weather!
Matt has been volunteering out at the Rocky Mountain Wildlife Conservation Center in Keenesburg for the last couple summers. We convinced him to take us all on one of our last days in CO. It was amazing to see so many animals together and so close to home! The Wildlife Sanctuary rescues animals from all over the country and gives them a good home where they can be rehabilitated. Some of the rescue stories are pretty incredible. http://wildanimalsanctuary.org/

I love your pictures! But we are very glad you're back. :)
Colorado is the best! I wish I could have joined you for the trip. Nathan looks so fatherly with the goatee. Love and prayers!
