Graduation in Seattle!

Last weekend we went to Seattle for my brother Matt's graduation from Seattle Pacific University. Since it is my alma mater I was excited to visit my old home too. :) My parents rented an amazing house in Capitol Hill for all of us. Matt had quite a turn-out for the ceremony - there were 14 of us! We are very proud of him and had a great time seeing him finish school.
Jane is turning into a pro-traveler. She was great on both the flight there and the flight home, she even took naps on the plane! She was the entertainment of the week, sometimes we were just all sitting around watching her and her antics.

Pike Street Market

The Ivy Cutting ceremony. Each student gets a cut of ivy from the school, representing how they are all branching out now that they are finished at SPU. My ceremony 6 years ago got rained out so we had it in the gym. It was really fun to see it how it is supposed to be, on the campus. It was a little chilly so I had Jane all wrapped up. She sat so good through the whole thing!

My grandparents came for the weekend too.

The house we were staying in was really close to Volunteer Park so we walked over for Jane to get a little play time.

My parents hosted a graduation party for my brother and his roommates on Saturday.

Nathan & Jane were checking out the view from the back deck.

Jane met her great-Uncle Dale, great-Aunt Tammy and cousin Briana over the weekend. She liked trying on Uncle Dale's shoes. :)

Everyone walked over to the park to check it out. They have some cool koi ponds at one end.

The views!

Walking home with Papa & Nana. So much fun!

The graduation ceremony. Jane loved being with the girls.

Jane was looking for Uncle Matt.

After the ceremony we had dinner on the water. Papa taught Jane a new game...I don't think Nana approved. :)

The whole group!
Our last day in Seattle we had a picnic at Gasworks Park on Lake Union. We got some great pictures with our new camera- thanks to Nathan!

My college roommate, Erin, came over with her new baby boy, Jack. He is only 2 weeks old! So sweet! I wish I had video of Jane meeting him because she LOVED him. :) She wanted to hold him so bad. :)
