Happy Easter!

We had a great time celebrating Easter and Christ's resurrection this year! We tried to talk to Jane about the origin of Easter but it is such a hard concept to understand - for anyone! She did learn that on Easter "Jesus came to save the world." :) I look forward to future years when we can focus more on Christ and less on the Bunny & eggs. We did have a fun time as a family, with a whole weekend together, no work!

My mom picked me and the kids up on Thursday morning so we wouldn't have to wait until Friday night to head to their house with Nathan. On Friday Jane spent the day with Papa while my mom and I took Henry shopping. We made a stop at Old Navy, which sells my favorite kid clothes. Henry got a new hat and matching outfit for Nathan's graduation. Jane and Papa ended up taking Rane to the veterinarian's office for a check-up. I heard that Jane had a great time. :)

On Saturday we took Jane to the Greeley Easter egg hunt in the SNOW! We weren't prepared for it to be snowing so Jane went in the warmest thing she had, her pajamas and Uncle Matt's hat. :)

Our friends, the Budensieks, came over for dinner on Saturday night. Their little boy, Kai, is 18 months old. Jane & Kai actually had a pretty good time playing together.

Papa & Nana babysat that night while Nathan and I went out with a bunch of friends. It was a great reunion! We stayed up way too late, helping the Easter bunny hide eggs and fill Easter baskets. :)

Jane has been talking about wanting a Rapunzel baby since the movie came out. :)
