Christmas is coming...
I guess the holidays have just sucked up my time because it's been a while since I posted an update. We are having a wonderful Christmas season this year. It is so special to celebrate with our children and begin teaching them the reason for the season! Jane really understands what Christmas is about this year and it is so fun to see how excited she is for everything. Henry is having fun too but it will be a few years until he gets it. :) I bought the kids a book this year that tells the Christmas story and talks about how we give presents to each other because it is Jesus' birthday and we love each other. Jane wants to read it 10 times a day. She has also been pretending to be Mary with her baby doll playing baby Jesus. She swaddles it and puts it in a basket (the manger).
I love Christmas and I'm so happy to be celebrating with my beautiful children and wonderful husband. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and we are ready! :)
Playing with Nana's Little People Nativity
It is a big favorite with both kids...they will be sad to see it packed up!
My little bookworms! They both love to have you read to them. Jane wants to read all the time and she sits and listens to every word. She has a lot of her books memorized now. Henry only lasts a couple pages but it just melts my heart when I see him coming with a book and then he does the backward shuffle into my lap. :)
Nana gave Henry an Oreo!! (Mom was at work)
What a princess...
Tebow time :)
Henry loves brushing Mommy and Jane's hair. So funny!
When Kelsey finished finals she came up to Greeley for a couple days! We were so happy to have her and we miss her!
This year Nana's side of the family decided to get together for a big family dinner a few weeks early. We met up at my Aunt Barb's house. Jane found Grandpa right away and they were checking out my aunt's Christmas village.

Aunt Shaina always has fun bracelets to play with.
Jane loved Aunt Barb's tree. (Lots of princess and Disney ornaments!)
Jane was learning from the master!

Michael & Jane trying to figure out the connect 4 game. :)
The whole crew (minus Papa...he was sick - something he generously gave to the rest of us - we are now recovered, thankfully before Christmas!)
Henry would fall asleep anywhere if I didn't put him down for his nap. :)
Jane and I made a gingerbread house this week. She had a great time decorating - she was very meticulous about where her candy went on the house.
The finished product!
Making cookies with Nana.
What silly girls...
Daddy and Jane rented some skis for the weekend and they had a great first ski experience today. We decided to try it out at home before taking her to a ski resort. They were headed to the golf course and decided that the hill down the side of Papa & Nana's yard would do.
Our adorable little ski bunny!
After a couple runs down the hill they quit in favor of a soak in the hot tub. :)
