Henry's First Birthday Celebration!

Henry's first birthday party was a great time for everyone! We had it a week late so more of his family could be there and it was worth the wait. :) He had fun being the center of attention. Henry is getting big SO fast and he's learning new things every day. He is learning how to get in trouble, how to get out of trouble - he can pretty much get away with anything if he flashes that sweet little smile. He's got five cute teeth now. He is still our sweet baby, he rarely gets upset unless he is really tired. He loves to do anything his sister is doing. He is a great napper and sleeper - something I appreciate! He is also a great eater and will eat almost anything and everything - a huge appetite too. He can out-eat Jane most of the time. His favorite game is still to shake his head at everyone but he loves to dance now too. He starts bobbing his head to any music he hears. :) Now for the birthday pictures!

Nana made Henry a birthday shirt - just like she did for Jane.

Mommy made Henry his very own giant cupcake.

Nathan found this book for Henry.

He was a little unsure of being the focus of all the attention at first so he hung out with Mommy & Daddy for a little while.

What a handsome little guy!

"Ok Mom, we need to get this party started or I'm going to need a nap."

Uncle Matt took over feeding Henry his lunch.

Henry's buddy Brooks was having a great time watching the action.

"This is all for me?" :)

Even though he got great presents one of his favorite things at the party was Brooks' soccer shoe. He tried to steal it several times.

A pilot's hat from Granddad & Gramma!

Sports balls from Brooks.

A big truck with a bunch of little people cars from Papa & Nana.

Henry got a little help blowing out his candle. :)

He wasn't shy. He dug right in without any encouragement.

His audience. The best part of a first birthday is watching them eat the cake!

Dale & Sharon made it for the best part.

He was done so he did what he always does with his food when he's done - threw it on the floor.

Henry thought he needed a grape when Daddy was trying to clean him up. I told you he can eat!
