Easter is coming!

Jane was picking weeds for me in the sandbox and she decided she needed some gloves. Her winter knit gloves. :)

Henry cracks us up because he loves to pull his knees into the body of his pajamas. He sleeps like this too!

Jane & Daddy have been singing the song "Stuck like Glue" by Sugarland and Jane looked up at me while we were eating dinner out and said, "Look Mommy! We're stuck like glue!" :)

Saturday morning we took the kids to an Easter Egg hunt put on by one of the churches in town. They had a great time and it was good practice for our church egg hunt on Easter!

Henry really just liked dragging his huge basket around. He didn't quite understand that you're supposed to put eggs in it.

Jane made up for Henry's lack of drive and ran everywhere during her hunt. 

Henry really wanted to ride on the slide but Daddy had to take him since the steps were so steep.

All the other girls were getting butterflies and unicorns painted on their cheeks but Jane was adamant that she wanted a spider. Silly girl. 

I woke up after work/sleep to find our huge tent set up in the backyard. Nathan told me he was bored. 

The kids loved playing in it for the day.

The kids learned a song during Sunday School and they started the service off parading through the sanctuary waving their palm branches. Henry got to do it too but I don't have any pictures! 

All of the kids love to run outside right after service and find the biggest sticks they can. Then they run around swinging them and trying really hard to poke each other in the eyes. It seems like no matter what any parent says it happens every week. (Nathan said he wants to go before service and pick up all the branches and replace them with foam pool noodles.) :)

Jane got a mango margarita at the Rio. She was really excited.

Henry's first haircut!! He had several stray hairs over his ears and the beginnings of a mullet so Nathan pulled out the clippers and gave him a little trim.

So handsome!

Popsicles on Sunday when we had 85 degree weather.

The weather was so nice Nathan and Jane decided to plant a little garden.

The kids' new favorite game - Nathan bounces them around singing the song from Pixar's short - Boundin. 

In true Colorado fashion it snowed on Monday (after being 85 degrees the day before!) so I took the kids to Jumpin. Henry decided he was a big boy and could do the slide all by himself.

Both kids got cute new outfits - I think they'll have to wear them when we have our church Easter egg hunt on Sunday!

Henry loves to lay in his sister's bed. Jane keeps telling me that they should sleep in the same room. Somehow I don't think they would really be sleeping...

The kids had their well child checks with the doctor on Tuesday morning. Jane weighed in at 30 pounds and 37 inches! Henry was 21 pounds and 26 inches - only 7th percentile for his weight and 16th for height. They are both healthy and growing though! We even successfully got up to date on vaccinations. Jane wanted to see a picture of kids with the chicken pox and now she's telling everyone how they need to get the shot so they don't get the chicken pox. It really made her upset for a while. She kept asking me, "Why didn't that baby get the shot?" :)

They got to go to Nana's after the doctor to decorate eggs. Jane was really into it this year - she picked a kit with glitter and stencils.

Making her chair fancy before breakfast - she actually does this for every meal.

This is something my mom used to let us do when I was a kid - painting rocks with watercolors and then they wash off when it rains! (Or when Henry decides to put them in his mouth...)

Henry was ready for bed and he crawled into the rocker to wait for me.

The kids love their other presents from Granddad and Gramma - read aloud books! Granddad reads "All the Ways I Love You" to Henry and Gramma reads "What Makes a Princess" to Jane. :) What a great gift!!
