Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from the Swisher family!

Jane had a teddy bear picnic after preschool a couple weeks ago. She got to bring her teddy bear Licorice to school and then we had lunch after school.

We had a visit from the Jenkins girls while they were in town for their Grandma's birthday. Everyone was in costumes right away and they picked up right where they left off.  :)

Henry's favorite accessory these days is a sword. He has a few of them and we're always worried about where they are.  :)

Palm Sunday at our church the kids start off the service with a processional. They wave palm branches and lead us in the first song.  This is Jane's favorite gaggle of girls waiting to sing.

Henry got into the action this year.

We had a late snow and Nathan built the kids a snow fort that they loved. We played in it for two days until it melted.

Warming up with Mommy.

Warming up with Daddy in the hot tub. So fun!

Last Thursday we surprised the kids with a night at Disney on Ice.  (We actually didn't get the tickets until that morning) They were really excited and we had a lot of fun.

Henry's favorite was Captain Hook, of course. He even wore his costume to the show. He did not like when Hook got swallowed by the huge crocodile though. :)

Saturday I took Jane with me to a friend from work's baby shower. She had a great time playing with some of my co-worker's kids and she didn't want to leave. I was really proud of her and how well she got along with everyone - she is growing up so fast!

Goofy girl!

Dying Easter eggs! Aunt Shaina and Uncle Matt came up for Easter weekend and brought egg dye and boiled some eggs for us to paint.

Henry really liked making his eggs green. He wanted to take them out right after we dropped them in.

Henry found a "big hook" which he decided to use to pull Aunt Shaina around the house. It was a fun game they played all weekend. :)

Easter morning! Henry didn't remember anything about it from last year but Jane did and Henry figured it out really fast. We finally had to tell Jane that she didn't need to give any more of her eggs to Henry because he had so many. She thought he needed help but he was doing fine on his own.

The wolf had one in his mouth!

Jane wanted a shot of her hair from behind :) I curled it for her and she was really proud of it.

She also loved her new Easter dress made by Nana.

I love this picture! They look so old!

Gramma and Granddad sent us Henry's Easter outfit. He looked so cute!

My handsome boys!

Journey had their service at the civic center, next door to our church so my family came over afterwards to take some family pictures.

Henry was checking out his new truck with Uncle Matt.

Playing with her new little legos!

Another egg hunt in Papa & Nana's backyard!

Sending Daddy goofy pictures during his "boring day at work." (quote from Jane)

Trying out the truck in the sand.
