Henry is 3 months old!
Well, we had an eventful week in the Swisher home! Henry is 3 months old and growing bigger every day! We were starting to think our swing was breaking but I decided it is just swinging slower because he's getting so heavy! :) He's becoming much more social, which is causing a few sleep issues but I'm sure we will power through. It still isn't as bad as it was with Jane in the beginning!
As far as Jane is concerned, we started potty training with Jane and she also suffered her first injury necessitating a trip to urgent care.
We decided to attempt to start the potty training this week with the thought that we will see how it goes for a week or so and then decide if we need to wait a little longer. So far she is doing pretty well with lots of incentives (she gets a pink M&M when she successfully makes it to the bathroom) and me constantly asking her if she needs to go. We aren't doing the extreme 3 day lock-down no clothes method but I have been staying home just because it is easier. She will be in childcare tomorrow during my Bible study so we will see how it goes! She got to buy new "big girl" princess and minnie mouse underwear so she was pretty excited. We are excited at the prospect of not changing her diaper anymore! She has always been a challenge to change since she is always on the move and doesn't like to stop for anything. Keep your fingers crossed for us that it comes easy! :)
Our other big event happened Tuesday night. Jane is always trying to climb out of the bath tub on her own and this time she slipped and hit her chin on the side. She sliced her chin open so we loaded the kids in the car to go to the urgent care. It closed at 9pm and we made it there by 8:30 so we thankfully didn't have to go to the ER. I was having images of us holding her down while they stitched it closed but they were able to use dermabond (a glue). She was actually in a great mood while we waited. She was singing and talking about Doctor Daisy. I'm sure it was only the first of many trips like this with Jane.

Jane fed Henry a bottle while I was at work. What a sweet sister.

Henry got to meet his Great Uncle Dan & Aunt Tammy this weekend when we met them for lunch.
Jane didn't take very long to warm up to Uncle Dan.

Sunday night Nathan took Jane out on a date. They went for ice cream at DQ. She was very excited and even got to wear her Cinderella dress.
Jane added her Christmas dress to her list of costumes this week. :) I guess it's not going to fit her again anyway!
Poor Henry, sitting in a pink bumbo seat. Oh well, it is the first of many pink things for him. Jane insisted on buying a princess potty chair even though we tried to steer her towards the Elmo seat.
Stare-down with Tigger.
Jane's favorite activity lately is coloring with her markers.

Nathan finally got around to bottling his first home brew! We'll see in a couple weeks how it tastes!

Jane really wanted to go outside one day when it was cold so I let her, but I stayed inside and watched from the windows. She only lasted 5 minutes.

If you look close you can see the big band-aid on her chin.
Trying to sit up, Henry's new favorite thing.
And, here's a little video compilation from the last month! :)
