Summer Catch-Up Part Two

Jane and Daddy made some yummy banana bread. Jane was very proud of herself!

Some Sunday morning dress-up time. I had to convince him he couldn't wear the mouse costume to church.  :)

Reading together in Jane's room.

A barbecue with our small group ended with a game of keep-away: Dads vs kids.  :)

Love these ladies! They have become such good friends over the last couple years.

Henry thought he was pretty funny this morning - making faces at my phone camera. :) His mommy thought he was funny too.

I love snuggling this little boy!

We took an end-of-summer field trip with the Walkers to Plumb Farm for their Pets-n-Popsicle days.

Henry "mooed" at me for 5 minutes while he stood in this cut-out.

Silly boy, eating with his play kitchen tongs.

Popsicles on Nana's deck.

A couple of weekends ago Nathan and I decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Steamboat as a family. We had a really great time - probably our last vacation as a family of four! :)

The first night we were in Steamboat we went to a free concert downtown.

The kids shared the pull-out couch in the living room of our condo. Love these two!

Of course we had to spend some time at the hot springs!

A walk along the river and through the Yampa River Botanic Gardens.

32 weeks!

A girl and her Daddy.

You know your baby is now a little boy when you started finding rocks in the washing machine. He is constantly on the look-out for the next best rock.  He didn't have pockets this day so he asked me to carry them in mine. :)

 Enjoying an old playground favorite.

Our last morning in Steamboat, sitting on the balcony enjoying the view.

A picnic along the river before heading home.

Nathan and I have both played fantasy football for the last 7 years or so. Last year my family really wanted to join in the fun so Nathan set up a league for everyone. So many people wanted to play this year that we had to split it into two leagues. This was our first live draft and we had a draft party.

My friend Nikki was visiting her family from California and she brought her baby boy Ezra over. Jen and Eli came too and it was really fun to see all the kids together! Jane wanted to hold Ezra so naturally Henry thought he should hold Eli.  :)

Jane caught a massive spider and then she decided she needed to catch him a fly for his breakfast.

Our family night out to see Planes!

I love that picture of you with your two boys in the field of flowers. I also think the one of Jane in her water wings looks just like you! Thanks Dani- your blogs make me smile :)
