October

October was a fun month! Besides a big first birthday celebration for Pete, lots of other friends had birthdays and we had a great time getting all dressed up for Halloween. It's fun enjoying all the fall activities with the kids - pumpkin patches and costumes.

Henry's first time getting to be "the leader" at preschool!

The littlest babes, hanging out during Owen's 4th birthday party!

Pete's first time in the hot tub!

Kai's dinosaur party! The kids are on a dinosaur egg hunt, led by Dr. Bryon the paleentologist. :)

These dinosaurs were frozen in ice and the kids got to break them out!

This little dude just wanted to hang out in the rocks.

Eating their dinosaur dirt cups.

Levi's 3rd Birthday party was a Plane's party! The kids watched the movie and had some cupcakes.

My friends and I decided to take all the kids to the pumpkin patch during the week when it wasn't so busy. We were quite a crew! 5 moms, 12 kids and 4 more on the way! :)

Hanging with the Hullah brothers!

Hanging with the girls… :)

An afternoon at the park with the whole family!

Henry got a new bike! We had promised him that he would get a "big boy bike" if he stopped sucking on his fingers and he did it! :) He was very excited!

Meeting Kyleigh Bell Novak! Congratulations Kevin and Walker!!

Out for a date :)

I found my old, 1st generation iPod, and it actually worked! Jane thought it was the best surprise ever!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have officially taken over in the Swisher home! This summer and fall we spent some time with my uncle and his family. His kids are pretty close in ages to ours and his sweet little Emily taught Henry all about the ninja turtles. He was hooked without ever seeing a show.
Of course, Raphael is his favorite because he wears red.

Since I'm the party planning mom for Henry's preschool class, I went with him to his Halloween party at school. I dressed up with him like Donatello. :)

Playing games at the carnival!

Every Tuesday night for the last 3 years we have met with families from our church in a small group. These friends have become like family to us and I'm not sure what we would do without them. One of the most fun things is watching our kids all growing up together. When we first started meeting with them Henry was less than a year old and he doesn't even remember a time when he didn't get to see all his buddies every week.

Jane's harvest party at school. BINGO!

Jane's school has a Halloween Ball the night before Halloween. We weren't really sure what to expect since this is her first year but we had a fun time. It was special to have a Mommy-Jane night!

The congo line :)

Blythe also goes to our church and Jane really looks up to her.

Out of all the girls dressed up like Elsa and Anna - one of Jane's best little friends was dressed like Princess Merida too!

When the music at the dance got a little too loud we headed out for some ice cream.

Nathan and the kids always have so much fun carving their pumpkins.

Trick-or-treating with friends.

I decided since Henry was so TMNT crazy we should all join in the fun. We had all four turtles!

The whole crew…

Checking out their loot at Nana's house - she had bags of fun surprises waiting for them.
